Two Years, Birthday's!

WOW! It has been awhile since we updated! Sorry friends! Exciting things have happened in the past few months =)

John & I's 2 years of dating passed on Feb. 27th! I know it's silly to celebrate that anymore, seeing as we are married, but we did anyways! Its crazy to think that we have known each other for that long already! I am so happy that he came into my life when he did! He is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me. Anyways, we celebrated by going to church that morning and then just spending time with each other the rest of the day. We made our new FAVORITE dish, chicken with cream cheese, alfredo sauce & many other ingredients, in the crock pot. It is SO good! We made some pasta & buttered asparagus and made it a meal. We lit some candles, and we had bought some yummy sparkling cider for the occasion the day before. We sat down and reminisced about when we first met, and ate some yummy dinner!

Some other fun things, both of our birthday's happened! John's was on March 16, and his birthday began right when he woke up! I gave him a few of his gifts (tastykakes ... ) in the morning before we both headed off to work & then the rest when he got home. He was very happy with his Mystery Science Theater box set. I actually watched one with him that Friday. (mainly because I wanted him to watch a chick flick with me on my birthday!) We had some yummy taco salad that night, and I made him a cake on Saturday, cause i actually had time that day!

And then the following week was MY BIRTHDAY! It was a pretty good birthday! I went to work for a few hours, and then headed home! I had taken a half day and got off way earlier than I thought I would. John ended up coming home from work earlier as well, and we got to spend the day together! I did A LOT of shopping with some babysitting money & money i got for my birthday. Lets just say I hit A LOT of sales! We went out to dinner to Macaroni Grill that night as well, and then came back and snuggled and watched a movie! And then most of John's siblings called me to wish a happy birthday! That had to be the highlight of my day! It was SO fun talking to my little nieces and nephews! I miss them so much! Oh WAIT, I think i forgot to mention his gift to me .... it is my new obsession ... wait for it ...

yes my friends, that is MY NEW FLIP VIDEO! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I have wanted one for SO LONG, basically since my dad got one awhile back. It is SO nice to have, cause now I can carry this in my purse and capture anything I want on film, WHENEVER I want! Does anyone see some cool movies in the making from me soon? I DO! =) Thank you to my AWESOME husband!

Hmmm... other than that life has been good! Work has been a little tough for me, but luckily it has slowly been getting better. Its a good thing I love my job & the people I work with, and push through the hard times! John is doing very well in school, and he is enjoying his classes! He has a test this week, so wish him luck!
